Nain

Nain carpets are from the city of Naein, east of Isfahan in central Iran. The city is not only know for it’s fine rugs but also its beautiful clay buildings and one of the oldest mosques in Iran, parts of which date back to the 10th century.

Nain rugs are renowned for their quality craftsmanship and high knot count. Designs usually feature medallions in the centre of rug much like Isfahan designs. Unlike many of our tribal Persian rugs, colours are usually made up of cream, off white and deep blue.
