Circular Rugs
A round rug softens a square room and works where a rectangle would look awkward — under a round dining table, in a bay, or to break up a long space. Sizes here run from 115cm up to 200cm across.
Under a round table, the rug should be at least 60cm wider than the table top on all sides so the chairs stay on it; for a four-seat table that usually means a 200cm circle. In a bedroom or a child's room a 120cm or 160cm circle beside the bed is enough. The choice runs from traditional designs (Da Vinci, Vintage Kashan) through carved and lustrous modern piles (Celestial, Blade Border) to the deep-pile Plush range, which is particularly popular as a nursery or bedroom rug.
Circles are made in fewer ranges than rectangles, so if you have a design in mind and don't see it here, ask — some ranges can be ordered in a round size to order.
Every rug comes with free delivery to UK mainland addresses, and our family team — rug specialists since 1961 — is happy to help with sizes, colours or care. Order online, or see the rugs for yourself at our showroom in Lostock Hall, Preston, open Monday to Saturday.
