Berber Rugs
Berber rugs take their diamond lattice and hand-knotted tassels from Moroccan tradition. Ours are mostly undyed cream and natural wool, with the pattern carried by texture and pile height rather than by colour.
Azera Berber is the fullest version of the look, with a deep wool pile and a loose black lattice on cream. Fes and Noah are lighter and more graphic, and Souk brings jute into the weave for a flatter, more rustic surface. Because the palette is almost entirely natural, a Berber rug goes with anything — it is the rug people buy when they are not sure what else to buy, and it rarely disappoints.
Wool Berbers are warm and resilient and suit a bedroom or sitting room; the jute and flatweave versions take more traffic and suit a hallway or a dining area.
Every rug comes with free delivery to UK mainland addresses, and our family team — rug specialists since 1961 — is happy to help with sizes, colours or care. Order online, or see the rugs for yourself at our showroom in Lostock Hall, Preston, open Monday to Saturday.
