Persian Style Rugs
Traditional Persian layouts — central medallions, allover florals and deep borders — reproduced in hard-wearing modern weaves. Some are richly coloured in the classic way; others are faded right back for a room that wants the shape without the intensity.
Da Vinci is our largest traditional range and the obvious starting point: Belgian-woven designs drawn from Persian and Oriental originals, in reds, blues and ivories, and in sizes from a hall runner to 300 x 400cm. Starry Nights and Sahar take the same layouts into deeper, more antique colourings, while Vintage Kashan from Nourison is the washed-out, distressed interpretation that suits a modern room. For a kitchen or a hallway the Liberty Washable range has several traditional medallion designs that go in the machine.
