Rise Rugs
Rise is a plain rug with something going on — the carved step between border and centre catches light along the edges and gives an otherwise quiet piece some shape. Seven colours cover the usual ground of charcoal, silver and sand alongside navy, teal, olive and rust. Three sizes as standard, and the range can be made to order in other dimensions.
Rise is hand-tufted in India from a wool and viscose blend, with a hand-carved low border framing a raised centre. At 20 mm overall the high-low surface reads as a quiet plain from across the room, with the viscose adding a soft sheen up close. Sizes are 120 x 170 cm, 160 x 230 cm and 200 x 290 cm, with prices from around £309.
