Zander Rugs
There is a lot of yarn in a Zander rug. The weave is thick and neatly finished, soft to walk on, and flecked throughout with the natural variation of space-dyed fibre. Charcoal, ivory and oyster suit rooms built on natural materials and quiet colour. Four sizes are stocked, up to a generous 240 x 340cm, with made-to-order sizes on request.
Zander is hand woven in India from a wool and polyester blend, a chunky 4 mm flatweave that builds to 14 mm on its cotton backing. Space-dyed yarn speckles the surface with lighter and darker flecks. Sizes run from 120 x 170 cm through 160 x 230 cm and 200 x 300 cm to 240 x 340 cm, with prices from around £219.
