A clear green field held inside a broad border, the tip-sheared wool giving a level surface with a soft, even sheen. The colour is fresh rather than muted, which is what stops the traditional layout feeling dated. It gives a neutral room a strong centre with no pattern to tire of.
Part of the Albi collection — hand tufted in India from pure wool and tip sheared to a smooth, even finish, with a dense 17mm body over a latex backing. The classic framed border is worked in clean blocks of colour rather than fussy detail, and wears well year after year.
