Aurora Mica Rug

Mica has the flaked, layered look of the mineral it is named for: small overlapping plates of gold and pale bronze that glint in sequence as light crosses them. Up close the surface is busy; from the distance of a sofa it settles into a warm, shimmering neutral. Suits a snug or a smaller sitting room.

Part of the Aurora collection — a machine-woven cut pile in a dense polyester and polypropylene blend, made in Turkey at a low 13mm overall height. The yarn carries a high shine that lifts the pattern under light, and the short pile keeps the rug easy to clean.
