Blox Copper Rug

Blocks of copper, rust and warm brown are set against paler naturals, each shape holding its own colour so the rug reads as a piece of geometry rather than a pattern repeat. The low wool loop keeps the edges of each block crisp, and the warmth of the palette suits a room with timber, leather or brass in it.

Part of the Blox collection — a hand-woven rug in 100% wool, worked in a low 7mm loop pile at 17mm overall on a cotton polyester backing with latex. The looped surface is flat and hard-wearing, and the wool takes the block colours cleanly. Each rug is made by hand in India.
