Camden Black White Rug

Black and white, the geometry worked so that the shapes tessellate outward like a kaleidoscope turning. Cut pile sits higher than the looped areas, which means the pattern reads in relief as well as in contrast, and the rayon lends a sheen to the pale sections. A graphic, deliberate rug for a plain room.

Part of the Camden collection — hand tufted in India from an even blend of wool and rayon, finished with both cut and looped pile so the tessellating geometry stands up in relief. At 16mm on a cotton backing it is a dense, finely made rug with a clear contrast in height and sheen.
