Como Marsala Rug

Marsala is a deep, wine-tinged pink with plenty of brown in it, a long way removed from any pastel. Across a 35mm pile the colour gathers and darkens in the shadows between the fibres, which gives a plain rug a surprising richness in a sitting room lit by lamps.

Part of the Como collection — a densely packed machine-woven shaggy in microfibre polyester, made in Turkey with a 35mm pile and a 40mm overall height on a jute mesh backing. The fine yarn carries a soft sheen and a velvety handle that gives real comfort underfoot.
