Halo Clay Rug

Clay works in soft browns, the centre a dusty terracotta and the surrounding border a shade or two deeper. The contrast between the glossy viscose edge and the matte wool middle gives the rug an unusual depth, and the warmth of the colour suits a room with plenty of timber in it.

Part of the Halo collection — hand-tufted in India from a 55% wool and 45% viscose blend, with a deep 35mm pile and 45mm overall height. A long, glossy shaggy border frames a shorter matte centre, so the surface shifts between matte and sheen as the light moves across it.
