Mason Grid Rug

A regular grid is worked into a mid-blue ground, the raised squares and recessed channels giving the surface a quilted look. It is simple, architectural and easy to place, bringing blue into a room as a solid block of colour with just enough structure to stop it reading as plain.

Part of the Mason collection — machine woven in India from microfibre polyester, with a 13mm cut-and-loop pile that carves each design in relief against a plain ground. The finish is soft and lightly brushed underfoot, 14mm in total over a cotton backing, giving quiet texture rather than obvious colour.
