Opulence Silver Rug

Silver worked in a deep shag, so the grey never lies flat: some of the yarn reads almost white where it catches the light and darker where it falls away. Cool without being cold, it is the obvious partner for a modern grey or monochrome room that needs softening at floor level.

Part of the Opulence collection — a deep shaggy rug hand tufted in India from GRS-certified recycled polyester, with a 30mm pile standing 40mm overall on a cotton backing. The yarn is dense and lustrous, so the plain ground reads as tone and shadow rather than flat colour.
