Seville Zafra Rug

Zafra is looser again, with broken, cloudlike marks scattered over a pale natural field and edges that dissolve rather than stop. The high-low shading catches light across the surface so the design never looks printed on. Quiet from a distance, more interesting up close, and forgiving of a room that changes with the seasons.

Part of the Seville collection — machine-woven in Turkey from polyester with a short cut pile of 18mm overall, shaded to give a high-low effect across fluid abstract designs. A cotton backing keeps it stable, and the hard-wearing yarn stands up to daily use without much fuss.
