Thatch Greige Rug

Greige sits between grey and beige, cool enough to work with painted walls and warm enough not to feel clinical. The check pattern is carved into the wool rather than printed onto it, so the lines read as ridges under the hand. It brings a soft, woven-blanket feel to a living room floor.

Part of the Thatch collection — hand woven in India from a wool-rich blend, with a low looped ground and a raised cut pile carved into a soft check. At 15mm overall the surface is shallow but strongly textural, the difference in pile height doing the work that contrasting colour usually does.
