Elm Rugs
Elm is a plain rug that earns its interest from texture alone. The bouclé loops are worked at different scales across the field, so the surface breaks up the light instead of sitting flat, and a simple stitched border keeps the edges tidy. Four natural and softly coloured options run across four sizes, up to a generous 240 x 340 cm for larger rooms.
Elm is hand woven in India from wool and viscose in a chunky bouclé flatweave, 14 mm thick overall, with loops of varied size giving a deliberately uneven surface and a dhurrie-inspired border. Sizes run from 120 x 170 cm through 160 x 230 cm and 200 x 300 cm to 240 x 340 cm, with prices from around £309.
