Enigma Rugs
Enigma is a design-led rug that plays a trick with depth: hand-carving cuts the pattern back at its edges, and the contrast between shiny viscose and matt wool makes flat geometry look as though it has been raised off the floor. It comes in blue multi and red multi, both vivid, in three sizes, with other dimensions made to order.
Enigma is hand-tufted in India from wool and viscose and then hand-carved, so the geometry stands proud of the ground at a 19 mm overall height. The viscose picks up light where the wool holds it. Sizes are 120 x 170 cm, 160 x 230 cm and 200 x 290 cm, with prices from around £519.
