Enigma Blue Multi Rug

Blue multi works several blues against each other — deep navy, a brighter cobalt and a softer sky — with the hand-carving cutting away at the edges of each shape. Where the viscose falls one way it shines; where it falls the other it goes matt. The geometry appears to lift clear of the ground as a result.

Part of the Enigma collection — hand-tufted in India from wool and viscose and then hand-carved, so the geometry stands proud of the ground at a 19mm overall height. The viscose picks up light where the wool holds it, which is what gives the design its three-dimensional look.
