Heriz Rugs
Heriz takes the medallion layouts of traditional hand-knotted rugs and works them in a low, shiny modern weave. The space-dyed yarn shifts tone across the pattern, giving the faded look of a rug that has been down for years. Five sizes run from an 80 x 160 cm through to 200 x 300 cm, with a 67 x 240 cm runner for halls and galley kitchens.
Heriz is machine woven in Turkey from space-dyed polyester, with a high-low pile just 10 mm in total that cuts the traditional medallion patterns into relief. The space dyeing gives a lustrous, faintly aged look. Sizes run from a 67 x 240 cm runner and 80 x 160 cm through 120 x 160 cm and 160 x 240 cm to 200 x 300 cm, with prices from around £89.
