Lima Rugs
Lima is a low-profile wool flatweave with a contrast border, which is what keeps a plain rug from looking flat. Five shades are made — gold, grey, rust, sage and sand — each one mottled by the hand-spun yarn rather than printed to match. Three standard sizes are stocked, with bespoke sizes available to order for awkward rooms.
Lima is hand woven in India from hand-spun wool in an unbacked flatweave, with a 7 mm pile and a 10 mm overall height. The yarn is twisted unevenly, so the surface shifts in tone across the rug. Sizes are 120 x 170 cm, 160 x 230 cm and 200 x 290 cm, with prices from around £129.
