Lima Gold Rug

A warm ochre gold, mottled by the hand-spun yarn so the colour is never quite even across the rug, finished with a contrasting band around the edge. Flat and low to the floor, it brings warmth into a room without the bulk of a pile rug under a door or a dining chair.

Part of the Lima collection — hand-woven in India from hand-spun wool in an unbacked flatweave, with a 7mm pile and a 10mm overall height. The yarn is twisted unevenly, so the surface shifts in tone across the rug, and a bold contrasting band runs around the edge.
