Albany Grid Monochrome Rug

Black lines ruled across an off-white ground make this the most graphic rug in the collection — no colour to soften it, just the grid and the density of the wool. It works in a monochrome scheme and it works as relief in a colourful one. Close tufting keeps the lines from blurring at the edges.

Part of the Albany collection — hand tufted in India from 100% wool, with a densely packed 12mm pile and a latex backing giving a total height of 16mm. Wool takes colour deeply and springs back underfoot, so these geometrics hold both their shape and their brightness.
