Albany Grid Olive Rug

The grid here is worked in olive, a grey-toned green that behaves almost as a neutral, ruled evenly across a light ivory base. It brings quiet order to a room without any strong colour of its own. Hand tufted wool leaves the lines with a slight softness, which stops the geometry looking mechanical.

Part of the Albany collection — hand tufted in India from 100% wool, with a densely packed 12mm pile and a latex backing giving a total height of 16mm. Wool takes colour deeply and springs back underfoot, so these geometrics hold both their shape and their brightness.
