Anders Cascade Blue Rug

The same falling brushwork in muted denim and slate against a pale ground, the blue concentrated in broad vertical passages. Cool and contemporary, it lifts a grey or navy room and gives a plain sofa something to sit against. The shimmer in the pile keeps the blue from reading flat.

Part of the Anders collection — machine woven in Turkey from a space-dyed polyester and polypropylene blend, with a gently raised cut pile standing 12mm overall. The dyeing gives the yarn a faint shimmer and a softly mottled tone, while the low pile keeps it durable and easy to live with.
