Ascot Navy Rug

Navy gives this one its weight, a dense dark blue in the wool field that the viscose border lightens to a silvered sheen at the edges. It works as a formal, settled base in a sitting room or under a dining table, and holds its own against white walls and pale upholstery.

Part of the Ascot collection — a hand-woven rug in 65% wool and 35% viscose, with a short cut pile carved to lift the broad border clear of the field. The wool centre is matt and dense, the viscose border catches the light, and each rug is made in India over a cotton backing.
