Aurora Etch Rug

Etch looks scored rather than woven: fine gold lines scratched across a marbled ground in overlapping passes, the way a printing plate is worked. The detail is close and the overall tone stays warm and low-key. It brings texture to a plain scheme and holds up well in a room with a lot of hard flooring.

Part of the Aurora collection — a machine-woven cut pile in a dense polyester and polypropylene blend, made in Turkey at a low 13mm overall height. The yarn carries a high shine that lifts the pattern under light, and the short pile keeps the rug easy to clean.
