Azera Berber Crosshatch Rug

Crossed lines build a loose hatched grid over the whole rug, the strokes uneven enough to look drawn by hand rather than set by machine. In undyed cream wool the effect is soft and textural, and the tufted pile gives each crossing point a little extra height and shadow.

Part of the Azera Berber collection — hand-tufted in India from undyed wool, with a 25mm shaggy pile and a 30mm overall height finished with a spray latex backing. The yarn is left in its natural shade, and the rugs can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle for straightforward everyday care.
