Azera Berber Tribal Rug

Tribal marks — small diamonds, crosses and short bars — are scattered loosely over the cream ground rather than set into a strict grid. Worked in the same undyed wool as the ground and raised in a deep tufted pile, the pattern shows through shadow and height rather than through any change of colour.

Part of the Azera Berber collection — hand-tufted in India from undyed wool, with a 25mm shaggy pile and a 30mm overall height finished with a spray latex backing. The yarn is left in its natural shade, and the rugs can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle for straightforward everyday care.
