Birkdale Indigo Rug

Indigo shows the hand spun striations more plainly than any other shade in the range, the darker and lighter blues running in irregular bands across the weave like dyed cloth. Flat, reversible and only 9mm thick, it gives a strong colour to a room without adding any height at a doorway.

Part of the Birkdale collection — a hand woven flatweave in 65% wool and 35% polyester, made in India with a 4mm pile and no backing, so it is fully reversible and only 9mm thick. The hand spun yarn carries natural colour striations, which means no two pieces are quite alike.
