Fes Diamond Cream Rug

A Berber diamond lattice is worked in relief across an undyed cream ground, finished with hand-knotted tassels at each end. The pattern is carried by the pile height alone, so it shows as shadow rather than colour. Soft underfoot and warm in a room of hard surfaces.

Part of the Fes collection — a machine-woven rug in 100% micro polyester, tufted to a deep 20mm pile over a flatwoven kelim-style base, 24mm overall on a latex backing. The Berber markings sit in a high, soft pile closer to a handmade Moroccan rug than a machine weave. Made in India.
