Ivory keeps this weave light while the natural flecking stops it looking plain or chalky. The chunky yarn gives a pronounced surface texture that shows up clearly in raking light across a room. It suits interiors built on linen, pale timber and unpainted plaster, and it takes a great deal of walking on.
Part of the Zander collection — hand woven in India from a wool and polyester blend, a chunky 4mm flatweave that builds to 14mm on its cotton backing. Space-dyed yarn speckles the surface with lighter and darker flecks, so the plain ground keeps an even tone without looking uniform.
