A soft, sage-leaning green sits under the metallic abstract, so the surface shifts between muted foliage and a paler, silvered tone along its length. It reads as a natural colour treated in a deliberately unnatural way, which is the appeal. Good against pale walls and dark wood furniture.
Part of the Gatsby collection — hand woven in India from pure viscose on a tip-sheared loop base, so the surface catches light and shifts with the angle of the light. The abstract design sits on a low 15mm construction with a cotton backing and a distinctly silken handle.
