A full central medallion with cornerpieces and a deep border, worked in beige and soft sand with the odd darker outline for definition. The high-low weave drops the ground away from the pattern so the medallion stands slightly proud, and the space-dyed yarn gives it the gentle sheen of an old rug. Easy company for any scheme.

Part of the Heriz collection — machine-woven in Turkey from space-dyed polyester, with a high-low pile just 10mm in total that cuts the traditional medallion patterns into relief. The space dyeing gives a lustrous, faintly aged sheen, and a jute mesh backing keeps the rug flat and hard-wearing.
