Heriz Serapi Copper Rug

Copper and rust carry the Serapi medallion, warming a classical layout into something closer to a country rug. Fine scrollwork fills the field and border, and the carved high-low surface gives that detail a physical edge. It sits well on stone or wide oak boards, and with older furniture in particular.

Part of the Heriz collection — machine-woven in Turkey from space-dyed polyester, with a high-low pile just 10mm in total that cuts the traditional medallion patterns into relief. The space dyeing gives a lustrous, faintly aged sheen, and a jute mesh backing keeps the rug flat and hard-wearing.
