Hive Rust Rug

Rust at its deepest along one edge, thinning out to a warm sand at the other, with the honeycomb worked over the whole gradient. Wool holds this kind of burnt orange particularly well, keeping it earthy rather than bright. A good rug for a room with wooden floors and warm-toned furniture.

Part of the Hive collection — hand tufted in India from 100% wool in a low tufted pile, 12mm overall on a latex backing. A repeating honeycomb grid runs the length of the rug while the colour behind it fades from dark to light, so the pattern reads as one continuous gradient.
