Rows of tribal marks — diamonds, chevrons, dashes and combs — are stacked in bands across the rug in a bright multi-colour mix. There is a great deal going on, which is rather the point: dropped into a plain room with white walls and simple furniture, it does the decorating on its own.
Part of the Muse collection — machine-woven in Turkey from hard-wearing polypropylene, with a 9mm cut pile and a 12mm overall height. The latex backing keeps the rug lying flat, while the easy-clean yarn shrugs off everyday spills and footfall, which makes Muse a genuinely practical choice for busy rooms.
