Sloan Green Rug

Green gives the Sloan geometric an earthy, almost botanical feel, the deeper tone reading warm rather than cool against the undyed wool. It is a colour that gets on well with plants, leather and brass. In a living room it grounds a scheme; in a bedroom it takes the edge off a lot of white.

Part of the Sloan collection — a hand-woven flatweave in soft wool and cotton, made in India and finished with a cotton backing. At just 4mm it sits flat under doors and furniture, and the hand-made construction gives the geometric patterning a crisp, well-defined edge.
