A formal central medallion with matching corner spandrels, worn back to soft greys and silver so the pattern reads as memory rather than statement. Fine detail survives in the borders where the field has faded. It brings a sense of age to a new house, and the low weave slips under furniture without bulk.

Part of the Sovereign collection — machine woven in Turkey from polyester, with a fine 5mm flatweave pile over a cotton backing, 10mm in total. The fibre carries an unusual sheen for a traditional design, catching the light across a faded, deliberately distressed ground.
