A clear yellow, sunny rather than acidic, framed by a border in the same shade so that it stays tidy. The ribbed ground breaks the brightness into finer lines, which makes a strong colour considerably easier to live with. A lifting choice for a room short on natural light.

Part of the York collection — hand woven in India from pure wool, combining cut and looped yarn in a finely ribbed ground held inside a plain border. At 19mm overall it carries real weight underfoot, and the natural fibre brings quiet texture and honest, long-wearing value.
