Zander Charcoal Rug

Charcoal in a chunky hand woven flatweave, speckled throughout with lighter greys where the space-dyed yarn changes tone. The weight of it is obvious the moment you stand on it. Dark enough to ground a pale room, and textured enough never to read as a flat slab of colour.

Part of the Zander collection — hand woven in India from a wool and polyester blend, a chunky 4mm flatweave that builds to 14mm on its cotton backing. Space-dyed yarn speckles the surface with lighter and darker flecks, so the plain ground keeps an even tone without looking uniform.
