Zennith Column Rug

Column runs a series of upright bars down the length of the rug, raised out of the cream ground in irregular wool loops. There is no contrast colour at all — the design is read entirely in relief and shadow, which is what gives it its calm. Soft, dense and quietly architectural underfoot.

Part of the Zennith collection — hand tufted in India from a 97% wool blend, with irregular loops raised and dropped across an 18mm pile to give a bouclé-like texture. The Scandinavian-leaning geometry is drawn in relief, so the pattern catches shadow rather than relying on contrasting colour.
