York Rugs
York covers a wide spread of colour for a plain wool rug, from beige, taupe and grey through to poppy red, navy, forest green and yellow. Every colourway is made in six sizes, including a 68 x 240cm runner and a 200 x 290cm room-size piece, and the range can be made to order in other dimensions. The ribbed ground and simple border keep it calm enough for any room.
York is hand woven in India from pure wool, combining cut and looped yarn in a finely ribbed ground held inside a plain border. At 19 mm overall it has real weight underfoot. Sizes run from 60 x 120 cm and a 68 x 240 cm runner through 80 x 150 cm, 120 x 170 cm and 160 x 230 cm to 200 x 290 cm, with prices from around £69.
