Ascot Red Rug

A warm red field of wool is held inside a shining viscose border, so the colour looks deepest in the centre and brightest where the light runs along the frame. It brings heat to a neutral room and makes a strong base for dark furniture, cream walls or a timber floor.

Part of the Ascot collection — a hand-woven rug in 65% wool and 35% viscose, with a short cut pile carved to lift the broad border clear of the field. The wool centre is matt and dense, the viscose border catches the light, and each rug is made in India over a cotton backing.
