Ascot Taupe Rug

Taupe sits between grey and brown in the wool field, and the viscose border warms it a shade further wherever it catches the light. It is the most adaptable colour in the range, holding a scheme together when the walls are cream, the sofa is grey and the floor is oak.

Part of the Ascot collection — a hand-woven rug in 65% wool and 35% viscose, with a short cut pile carved to lift the broad border clear of the field. The wool centre is matt and dense, the viscose border catches the light, and each rug is made in India over a cotton backing.
