Aston Ochre Rug

Ochre reads as a deep golden yellow in daylight and warms further under lamps, the loop pile catching light along every row. Stitch detail breaks the surface into subtle bands. It is a plain rug that never looks blank, and it holds a room together where the furniture is mostly neutral.

Part of the Aston collection — hand woven in India from 100% viscose in a low 8mm looped pile, latex backed to 10mm overall. The loops catch light from every angle, giving a plain rug real depth, while a contrast stitch running through the weave breaks up the surface.
