Aston Silver Rug

Silver is the coolest of the four, a pale grey with a definite sheen that lifts it away from flat concrete tones. Light travels across the loops in bands, so the rug looks different from each side of the room. Contrast stitch detail gives the plain surface a quiet structure and keeps it from reading as carpet.

Part of the Aston collection — hand woven in India from 100% viscose in a low 8mm looped pile, latex backed to 10mm overall. The loops catch light from every angle, giving a plain rug real depth, while a contrast stitch running through the weave breaks up the surface.
