Finley Grey Rug

Grey here comes from the blend rather than from a single dye, with wool, cotton and polyester taking colour at different rates to produce a softly mottled cloth. The flatweave is thin and unbacked, so it lies close to the floor and moves with it. A plain rug with enough texture to hold interest on its own.

Part of the Finley collection — hand woven in India from a blend of polyester, wool, cotton and viscose, with no separate backing and a flat 10mm body. Mixing fibres makes the weave shift in tone as the light moves, and gives a plain rug a quietly organic character.
