Birkdale Pistachio Rug

Pistachio is a soft, dusty green that lifts a neutral room without tipping it into colour, and the natural striations in the hand spun yarn stop it from looking painted on. The weave is flat on both sides, so the rug can be turned over and turned round to even out the wear.

Part of the Birkdale collection — a hand woven flatweave in 65% wool and 35% polyester, made in India with a 4mm pile and no backing, so it is fully reversible and only 9mm thick. The hand spun yarn carries natural colour striations, which means no two pieces are quite alike.
