Blade Border Smoke Putty Rug

Smoke against putty: a cool grey banding a warmer stone centre, which stops the rug from falling entirely one way or the other. The contrast is firm without being stark. It is a useful bridge in rooms where grey furniture sits on wooden floors and neither wants to dominate.

Part of the Blade Border collection — hand woven in India from 100% viscose in a low loop pile, then tip-sheared so the yarn catches light and shifts tone as you cross the room. A thick contrast border frames each piece, and the 17mm cotton, polyester and latex backing keeps it sitting flat.
